Nancy Strope, Vice-President
and Chairperson of the Brooke County Veterans Memorial Park Foundation said that "her
fundraising committee has been raising funds for this memorial since the foundation was formed
in July of 2004. To date, they have raised $85,000."
She went on to say "We are very excited about the new design. We have so many good people who are always willing to support us, and are looking forward to seeing this project completed at Brooke Hills Park." |
